This is a browser-based experiment in alternative typographic interaction. It explores the use of real-time hand tracking to manipulate variable font parameters, specifically weight, without traditional UI components. As the user moves their hands closer or farther apart in view of the camera, the font dynamically interpolates along its weight axis. This project investigates embodied, spatial input as a means of interacting with type, leveraging web-based computer vision and the Variable Fonts specification to bridge motion and form. Click anywhere on the screen to isolate the hands tracking and hide the webcam feed. Start typing to test the interaction with a custom word, and reset by clicking send.
